«EPSCom successfully passes ISO 9001:2000 certification»

EPSCom AG, including its engineering center, has successfully passed its first ISO 9001:2000
certification. The certification has been conducted by Swiss Association
for Quality and Management Systems (SQS), Switzerland, and
covers the entire company’s activity area, which includes embedded
system solutions, software design, development, and implementation
services, and reference hardware platforms.

The maturity of EPSCom’s quality management system and processes allowed
SQS to approve system’s compliance to the ISO standard already in the
first certification round. This is the best demonstration of a long term
commitment of EPSCom to the high quality of services provided by the
company to its customers. According to EPSCom’s president, Alexander
Zhvaniya, the successful certification was preceded by years of
continuous improvement in the quality of services based on customer
feedback. “After several years of hard work it was almost ensured that
we will pass our first certification without any serious problems. Today
we are very happy to see results of our work. But the certification per
se was not our end goal. We know that our strength is in the top, if you
like, ‘Swiss’ quality which we can provide to our customers; and they
value and rely on this. That is why we are not going to stop at the
achieved level. Instead we will further strive to improve our processes
to achieve highest satisfaction levels of our customers.” -- said Mr.
Zhvaniya.
