HW Engineer

In this position you will be responsible for Hardware platforms design and development mainly on the Telecommunications field. Depending on your activity you will be involved in different design and development steps for Analog and Mixed signal Hardware platforms. In dynamic, multicultural environment of our company, you will be part of a team working on projects in the area of Telecommunications and Digital Signal Processing.

As a successful candidate for this position you must be able to demonstrate the following qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in hardware design and development
  • Extensive experience in Analog, Digital and Mixed signal circuit design techniques
  • Good knowledge of measurement equipment: oscilloscopes, spectral analyzers, logic analyzers, etc.
  • Basic computer engineering knowledge (processor and memory organization stack, calling conventions, interrupt handling, DMA, data transfer buses, serial communication interfaces like SPI, I2C, etc.)
  • General understanding of DSP theory basics
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Any of the following qualifications will be a plus:
  • Familiarity with Motorola, Analog Devices, Texas Instruments DSP architectures, Xilinx FPGAs and CPLDs
  • Basic knowledge of VHDL, Verilog
  • General understanding of PCB design process
  • Practical skills to use solderer are welcome
  • Hands-on experience with hardware debuggers (Multi-ICE, Lauterbach, etc.) and device-level programming (mainly in C and ASM)
  • Practical knowledge of Cadence OrCAD, PCAD, Xilinx ISE, ModelSim
  • Software analysis, review and re-factoring skills
  • Written and verbal communication skills in English
