We are looking for experienced

DSP Engineer

In this position you will be responsible for DSP software, firmware and embedded application specific software development in C and other programming languages. You will develop software under different operating systems using provided environment. In dynamic, multicultural environment of our company, you will be part of a team working on projects in the area of Telecommunications and Digital Signal Processing.

As a successful candidate for this position you must be able to demonstrate the following qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in DSP software/firmware development
  • Extensive programming experience in C
  • Basic knowledge of Digital Signal Processing: theory and applications
  • Basic computer engineering knowledge (processor and memory organization stack, calling conventions, interrupt handling, DMA, data transfer buses, serial communication interfaces like SPI, I2C, etc.)
  • General understanding of Analog and Mixed Signal designs techniques
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Any of the following qualifications will be a plus:
  • Familiarity with Motorola, Analog Devices, Texas Instruments DSP architectures
  • Experience with DSP software design under “hard” real-time
  • Hands-on experience with measurement equipment
  • Software design and development process using UML
  • Understanding of embedded software development principles
  • Hands-on experience with hardware debuggers (Multi-ICE, Lauterbach, etc.) and device-level programming
  • Practical knowledge of MS VS, Matlab, GCC, Perl, Python, CVS/Subversion, Socket API
  • Software analysis, review and re-factoring skills
  • Written and verbal communication skills in English
