EPSCom has a long-term and very successful cooperation with a company Lantiq. Lantiq’s headquarter is located in Munich, Germany. The company is an international fabless semiconductor organization of approximately 1,000 people. Lantiq has a 20+ year record of technology leadership, innovation, and strong customer relationships. Its holistic understanding of broadband technology, complete applications, communication standards, and legacy networks enables the company to offer the broadest portfolio of highly integrated, flexible end-to-end semiconductor solutions for next generation networks and the digital home.
Since 2000 EPSCom has been working in the area of broadband access systems (xDSL) for Infineon Technologies AG, Germany. Infineon is world's fifth-largest semiconductor manufacturer with about 30'000 employees worldwide and annual revenues of over
EUR 4 billion (2007). EPSCom has been qualified as Infineon's Standard Supplier.
Since 2001 EPSCom has been developing embedded software for BridgeCo AG, Switzerland. BridgeCo is pioneering advanced multimedia network chip technology for connecting consumer electronics to home networks and the Internet and for building professional digital audio equipment. BridgeCo platforms are targeted at the multi-billion dollar global market for stand-alone after-market and embedded audio applications.
From 1997 to 2000, EPSCom (at that time NIL23 DSP Lab) was actively engaged in project work with ALCATEL Kommunikations-Elektronik GmbH (acquired in 2003 by KEYMILE). The work included development of embedded network management software for broadband access systems (“last mile”). In 2000, the cooperation culminated in a successful launch of LineRunner family of DSL transmission systems.
In January 2009, EPSCom concluded an independent contractor agreement with PacketVideo (PV). PV, a subsidiary of NextWave Wireless Inc. (NASDAQ: WAVE), specializes in embedded software products for multimedia services and devices. Founded in 1998 in San Diego, California, today it is worldwide recognized as a company with the deepest and broadest multimedia software expertise in the industry. PV offices can be found all over the world -- in the U.S., Japan, Europe and India.
In June 2009, EPSCom AG started working on projects for Silicon Image, Inc., a leader in digital connectivity and interface solutions and standards for high-definition (HD) equipment. Silicon Image is a highly innovative company, which pioneered a number of key multimedia technologies for consumer electronics and personal computing markets. It is one of the initiators and driving forces behind the widely used today HDMI specification.
At the beginning of 2010 EPSCom AG signed a contract with young but very promising company Dream Chip Technologies GmbH. Dream Chip Technologies (DCT) was founded on January 1st, 2010, as a management buy-out of Silicon Image GmbH, Hannover. DCT is a German engineering company with a strong track record in System on Chip and embedded Software design. DCT is positioned to support European customers with their SoC, FPGA and Embedded SW designs.
